The 4th Annual Empty Bowls Dinner will be held in the Elgin High School Cafeteria on Thursday, November 21 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The purpose of the dinner is to raise money to help alleviate hunger both locally and elsewhere. The name Empty Bowls is to remind us of the many people who go to bed hungry because their bowls are empty.
It's simple. Buy a bowl for $10 and enjoy a free meal of beans, cornbread, and dessert.
