This year has been a successful one so far for The Pride of Elgin Band. During the fall semester, they achieved the Class 4A Championship at the ECU Tigerpalooza Marching Band Contest and also all 1's at the OSSAA Regional Marching Band Contest. This success carried over into this semester as the band transitioned from marching band to concert band. The Pride of Elgin competed at the OSSAA District Concert Band Contest where they received all 1's for their stage performance and a 1 in sight-reading. This accomplishment, along with their Superior rating at Regional Marching Band Contest, qualifies them for State!!! The band will now compete for the highest award given to high school bands, the OSSAA State Sweepstakes Award!

Tuesday, April 21 at 4 PM in the Fine Arts Center of East Central University in Ada.
