Enrollment Information

Elgin Elementary
Enrollment for 2012-13 is Thursday, Friday, & Monday, August 2nd, 3rd, & 6th, for Pre-KG through 4th Grade students.  EVERYONE enrolls these days unless you pre-enrolled for Pre-KG or Kindergarten back in April.  These are the ONLY two grades that pre-enroll.  Enrollment is 8:30 to 3:00 at the ECC office for Pre-KG, at the Lower Elementary office for KG – 2nd Grades, and at the Upper Elementary office for 3rd & 4th Grades.  Please bring any updated immunization records.  School supply lists, Elgin Red t-shirts, and Aug. 14th teacher meet & greet information will be available at enrollment.  New students to Elgin must bring a birth certificate, immunization record, and the address of the former school they attended so we can request education records.

We do not accept requests  for specific teachers, but parents who enroll Aug. 2nd – 6th may request not to have one specific teacher per grade level.  Parents of students who ended the 2011-12 school year with Cafeteria charges or lost/damaged books must take care of those obligations before they can enroll.  Parents (not students) may call their respective schools on Friday, Aug. 10th, at 9:00AM to receive classroom assignments.
